Biography

Tee Green, known as The Mentorship Coach™, is a distinguished entrepreneur, philanthropist, humanitarian, and author, with a remarkable background as a retired member of the U.S. Military Special Operations community. Tee’s journey is defined by his unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and organizations through the transformative power of mentorship. He is a sought-after consultant, speaker, and trainer who has captivated audiences of over 10,000, sharing stages with international superstars, professional athletes, and senior military leaders.

Through his unique approach to mentorship, Tee guides leaders, executives, and organizations to harness mentoring as a strategic tool for leadership development, enhancing decision-making at every level, and achieving strategic goals. Tee empowers mentees, from emerging leaders to seasoned executives, to leverage mentoring as a powerful tool for personal growth, improving decision-making capabilities, and achieving both individual and organizational objectives.  His Mastermind Groups and personalized, one-on-one mentorship coaching sessions, equip both mentors and mentees with the skills to inspire and effectively guide those they care about most deeply.

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Tee completed his high school education at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He then returned to his roots in South Carolina to attend The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. Following this, he received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and excellence, Tee pursued a Master of Science Degree shortly after entering the Air Force. His military career, marked by dedication and bravery, was cut short after nine years due to injuries sustained while serving in Afghanistan, leading to his honorable retirement. Throughout his military service, mentorship played a crucial role, both as a mentor to his peers and mentees and as someone who deeply valued the guidance and wisdom of those who mentored him.

Tee’s achievements have been widely recognized. He was honored as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA), one of the highest awards and American civilian can receive, joined the very exclusive short list of historically influential people whom since 1938 has recognized young men and women who are truly dedicated to creating a better nation, the world around them from various fields, including politics, science, entertainment, sports, and human improvement. These influential figures include John F. Kennedy (1946), Nelson Rockefeller (‘41 & ‘44), Bill Clinton (1979), Elvis Presley (1970), Dick Cheney (1976), Arthur Ashe, Wayne Newton (1977), Peyton Manning (1999), Howard Hughes (1938), Orson Welles (’38 & ’41), Gale Sayers (1969), Michele Tafoya (2001), John Cena (2013), , and Christopher Reeves (1981) to name a few.

Tee witnessed firsthand the transformative power of mentorship and its profound impact on organizations. In 2010, after his medical retirement as a Major in the Air Force, Tee founded an IT company. Under his visionary leadership, the company has become a beacon of innovation and excellence, pioneering advancements in Cyber Security, Unmanned Vehicles, Energy and Environmental Management, and Logistics. Mentorship is at the heart of his company's culture, fostering a spirit of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. The company has played a critical role in numerous high-stakes projects, including network migrations supporting over 100,000 military and civilian personnel and providing medical IT support for 1.4 million individuals across 59 hospitals and 364 clinics worldwide. The company proudly supports the U.S. Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Navy, Defense Information System Agency, and several commercial entities and hospitals.

Tee’s impact extends beyond the corporate world. As a trusted advisor and mentor, he has provided strategic guidance to leaders across the globe, including U.S. and foreign military officials, NGO leaders, and corporate executives on four continents and throughout the Middle East. His dedication to service is further demonstrated through his philanthropic efforts, providing medical aid, clean water, and disaster relief to nations in need, including Haiti, Pakistan, and various regions in East Asia. His commitment to mentorship and community development is also evident in his work with inner-city programs and drug education camps for both inner-city and military youth. Tee is passionate about the next generation and frequently speaks at universities, collaborating with educational institutions on mentorship initiatives for faculty and students.
